About Loud Sound

Loud Sound is a company mainly focused on events like the battle of the bands. It was formed in order to help new, independent rock/alternative/metal bands play live shows, bands that may have little or no previous experience whatsoever. It is our main goal to promote bands and provide them with the opportunity to play live in known clubs in Athens, Greece.

Battle of the bands is a type of concerts that target young, independent bands that don't usually have the opportunity of playing live in front of a typical large audience. That is given to them by Loud Sound and the bands enjoy playing their own material in front of many individuals and thus, increasing their fan base and creating a famous status in the Greek underground scene. “Battle of the Bands” concerts also have the form of competition and that is why certain prizes are given to the winners of those tournaments for each season.

At Loud Sound our goal is to develop and provide new independent bands with industry exposure and live concert opportunities. Our vision is to promote underground music and bring it forward to a wider audience, thus empowering the local alternative scene.

And those opportunities stated above not only come for free, but certain percentages go back directing to the band. All we ask in return is to promote their show and play a good set. (original and cover songs are both welcome)
